Evelyn Hernandez, born and raised in a small town of the beautiful Dominican Republic. A passionate bilingual teacher with 25 years of teaching experience. Taught diverse student population, several subject matters and provided workshops for teachers, students and families. Evelyn is a computer science advocate, coding clubs facilitator and STEM night organizer. She is a recipient of a $234,000 Technology grant, awarded for Enhancing vocabulary using Blended learning. Evelyn resides in Long Island, NY and works as a Technology Specialist. She currently serves as a vice-chair for the Nassau Association of School Technologists (NASTECH).
